For the second consecutive week, there were no bans handed down by the RFL disciplinary panel. However, there will be no repeat appearance of the dancing banana GIF, as there were still charges handed down.
There were two Catalans players under scrutiny this week following their loss away at the Wigan Warriors last Friday night. Julien Bousquet was cited for a Grade B Tripping offence, which saw him slapped with a £250 fine, and teammate Ben Garcia was handed the same punishment for a Grade B Head Contact charge.
Returning Hull FC half-back Jake Truman was given an unwelcomed return present in the form of a £250 fine following a Grade B Dangerous Contact charge. Across the river on the East side of Hull, Peta Hiku was cited for Grade A Dangerous Contact offense, and was also handed a £250 fine for his troubles.
Last, and least, (in terms of punishment) is Leeds Rhinos’ hooker Andy Ackers, who received no sanction for a Grade A Other Contrary Behaviour charge.
