Huddersfield Giants have today announced that they have parted company with head coach Ian Watson. Watson joined the West Yorkshire club from the Salford Red Devils in Novembers 2020, achieving a third-place finish in 2022. However, the clubs fortunes have been less bright this season, with just one win in their last eight games.

Assistant coach Luke Robinson will take charge of the first team, starting with their game against Leigh Leopards this weekend, as the search for a new head coach begins for the West Yorkshire outfit.

This is breaking news, and we will update our readers with any developments as soon as they are available.
