This past week, England coach Shaun Wane named his provisional 30-man training squad ahead of the England test series against Samoa in the Autumn. Wigan duo Liam Marshall and Junior Nsemba could potentially make their debuts, and were named alongside five other players from the Warriors.
Six Australian-based players will also make their return to the national side after being unavailable for the mid-season test in France, with the likes of Dom Young and Rictor Radley amongst those travelling back from Down Under to face Toa Samoa in October.
Head coach Shaun Wane had this to say on his selections: “There have been several players who have been performing consistently in both the Betfred Super League and the NRL and it has given me some real competition for places.”
“With a few weeks still left in both domestic campaigns, I am expecting these players to continue to stand up at the business end of the season and earn their place in the final squad I assemble to face Samoa.”
