At last night’s awards ceremony, Hull KR’s star stand-off Mikey Lewis claimed the crown as Super League’s Man of Steel for 2024. Lewis, who is getting ready to play in his first Super League Grand Final this weekend, beat out competition from Warrington’s Matt Dufty, and Salford’s Marc Sneyd.

Lewis wasn’t the only Robin to leave the ceremony with an award in tow, as coach Willie Peters also walked away with Coach of the Year, beating out Matt Peet (Wigan), Mike Eccles (London), and Paul Rowley (Salford).

Elsewhere on the night, Wigan’s front-row phenom Junior Nsemba took home Young Player of the Year. The 20-year-old Second Row had an incredibly impressive breakout year in 2024, being a part of the Warriors side that won the Challenge Cup and League Leader’s Shield so far this season. Nsemba beat the challenges of George Delaney (St Helens) and Matty Nicholson (Warrington) to claim the honour on the night.
