Hello, and welcome to a new weekly series where Ian and I try and predict the results in Super League week-by-week. The aim of this series is to decide once and for all which side of the River Hull has the most clairvoyant representative. Surely, the stakes have never been higher.

Here’s how it’s going to work:

  • Each person predicts the results from every Super League match.
  • Predicting the correct winner will get you 1 point.
  • Predicting a score line within ten points of the actual score (for both teams) will win an additional two points.
  • Correctly predicting the exact score will win you an additional five points.
  • A bonus point will be awarded if you can correctly predict the first try scorer.

Nathan’s Picks:

  • Wigan 26 – Leigh 18. First try scorer: Liam Marshall
  • Hull KR 36 – Castleford 6. First try scorer: Peta Hiku
  • Catalans 30 – Hull FC 18. First try scorer: Jordan Rapana
  • Leeds 18 – Wakefield 22. First try scorer: Ryan Hall
  • St Helens 18 – Salford 12. First try scorer: Kyle Feldt
  • Huddersfield 6 – Warrington 32. First try scorer: George Williams

Ian’s Picks:

Check back on Monday for the results! Our first predictions table will be included in next week’s prediction post! Leave your picks in the comments and enjoy the season!
