Hull FC have tied down Herman Ese’Ese to a long-term deal with the popular Kiwi prop forward signing a 3-year extension and the club holding the right to extend that by another year.

The barnstorming 30-year-old is enjoying an outstanding start to the 2025 season and has scored tries in the Airlie Birds’ last three games against Leigh, Wigan and Wakefield Trinity, and currently leads the early season Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel rankings.

The new deal will see him remain with the Black & Whites until at least the end of the 2029 season, which will become 2030 if Hull activate the extension clause.

He is also top of the current Betfred Super League offload chart and joins young talent Lewis Martin, Harvey Barron, Denive Balmforth and Will Hutchinson in committing his long-term future to the club.

Speaking on hullfc.com he said: “I’d like to thank the Faithful supporters for always showing love and support towards me ever since I arrived in Hull.”
